Surface, Area, Workspace Disinfection
Surface, Area and Workspace disinfection is a key component to prevention and control of any viral spread. This can be accomplished with manual or mechanical methods. Manual or electrostatic application of hospital grade disinfectant on hard surfaces and high touch points to remove pathogens can be performed at any frequency including nightly, weekly or one-time.
Electrostatic Disinfection
SELECT can protect your facility with a revolutionary system that helps reduce pathogens. It pairs an innovative electrostatic sprayer with specialized disinfecting chemicals to deliver superior coverage to front, back and sides of surfaces for better germ protection. Ideally the area will have had surface dirt, dust or debris removed prior to an electrostatic spray. Electrostatic spray application with both pre and post spray manual wipe down of hard surfaces combined with HEPA-filtered vacuuming of soft surfaces is our recommendation. All PPE and disinfecting waste disposed in accordance with medical grade hazardous waste guidelines. Full protective disposable suits are required for this process.
Manual Disinfection
Manual wipe down of hard surfaces and high touch points with a disinfectant to remove pathogens is ideal for desk and work station areas and requires a steady, methodical approach to cover all of the areas people may be exposed to. Disposable one-time use wipes and hospital grade disinfectant are utilized and properly disposed of upon completion. Gloves and masks are preferred, no suits are required for this process.
